Cassiani, Kathaleen,

Kathaleen “Kathy” H. (Cummings) Cassiani, age 81, of the City of Clintonville, in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, went to her heavenly Father

peacefully in her sleep, in her home of 50 years, on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Kathy was born on November 17, 1940, to the late James and Mary (Weinfurter) Cummings, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. She was the third of five beloved children. She lived in Wisconsin Rapids for her entire childhood, graduating from Assumption High School in 1958. It was during her childhood that she dedicated her life to the Lord, at just eight years old, and served Him with an unwavering faith her entire lifetime. After graduation she became the Executive Assistant to the President of Mead Papers in Wisconsin Rapids. She was bestowed her most treasured title by her grandchildren: GK for Grandma Kathy. She is adored by her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and is loved by her faithful children. Kathy was blessed with four siblings and their spouses, that when they got together, the raucous laughter could be heard from miles away. The bond they shared as children has lasted a lifetime and beyond.

She was united in marriage with Vince Cassiani on June 8, 1963, for 27 years. After moving to Barron, Wisconsin in 1971, Kathy and her family settled in Clintonville, Wisconsin, in 1972, where they raised their four children. This is where Kathy became a stay-at-home mom and was so loved by the kids in town that she affectionately became known as Mrs. C. All were welcomed into her home with love, kindness and many treats. As a result, many kids now grown into adults have made special pilgrimages to her home to visit her throughout the years. She led with kindness, and all who knew her loved her. Through sharing her love of the Lord, she left an indelible mark on the lives of many, who feel blessed to have known her.

She enjoyed ice skating, cross-country skiing and bicycling in her younger years. She was a beautiful songstress, an excellent chef and baker, enjoyed playing the piano, was skilled at card games, loved telling a good joke to her grandchildren, and cheated well at the game of Hedbanz. She enjoyed bird watching in her family room and could be heard cheering loudly at the TV during Packers games.

Kathy was blessed with the gift of going to sleep on earth and waking up in heaven.
