Waupaca County sheriff’s report Oct. 23

• Oct. 17 – An anonymous caller requested an officer to check on an elderly man pushing a cart southbound on County Trunk W.

• Oct. 17 – A Waupaca woman on Setter Lane reported her ex-husband from 32 years ago discovered her. She kept her personal life private so he could not find her. He called her yesterday and was very agitated. She did not have restraining order on him.

• Oct. 17 – A female caller reported her boyfriend came home drunk, locker her out of the house and told her to go away.

• Oct. 18 – A cellphone caller requested an ambulance for a 47-year old man on the floor immobilized with back pain.

• Oct. 18 – A New London caller on Ritchie Road reported a white GMC truck parked in his driveway with no license plates.

• Oct. 18 – A Weyauwega man on Clayhill Road reported the theft of two push lawnmowers. He had security video of two suspects.

• Oct. 18 – Down Under Salon in Waupaca reported a window had been tampered with. It was partly opened and a hand print was on the glass.

• Oct. 18 – A Clintonville caller on Rienke Road reported the theft of three catalytic converters.

• Oct. 18 – A Waupaca caller on County Trunk E reported a family dispute where she was pushed off the porch.

• Oct. 18 – A New London caller on Burns Drive reported finding a man passed out behind the wheel. He hollered at him and offered to follow him home. They were now in his driveway.

• Oct. 18 – A Weyauwega caller on Alfred Street reported a woman came home intoxicated, started arguing and pushed him into a door.

• Oct. 19 – The Waupaca County Highway Department reported a black SUV driven by a woman went through their flagged work zone. They thought she may have been drunk. She continued eastbound on State Highway 54.

• Oct. 19 – A Weyauwega caller on Evanswood Road reported an older mini SUV parked in her driveway for 10 minutes. She didn’t recognize the driver and nobody got out. The vehicle then left towards Fremont.

• Oct. 19 – A cellphone caller reported a fire on Larry Road in Mukwa.

• Oct. 19 – ThedaCare Waupaca reported a man called them screaming that he could not get any pain medication.

• Oct. 19 – An Elm Grove woman requested a check to see if their son was at the cottage they recently purchased. If he was there he was trespassing.

• Oct. 19 – Fleet Farm Waupaca reported they detained a person for retail theft. The person was uncooperative and aggravated.

• Oct. 19 – An Iola caller on Wolf River Road reported his four-wheeler was stolen, along with a rifle scope and tackle boxes.

• Oct. 19 – A New London caller on Mickeljohn Road reported a balc Ford Mustang parked the wrong way on the road. It had no license plates and was sitting there for two days.

• Oct. 19 – A caller reported the theft of a boat-motor battery.

• Oct. 19 – A Manawa man on River Road reported a house engulfed in flame.

• Oct. 20 – A Marion caller on Begrow Road reported illegal dumping.

• Oct. 20 – A Waupaca caller on Washington Street reported a woman approached her home looking for gas and money. She wanted to come into her driveway to “see if she had anything.”

• Oct. 20 – The town of Lind reported they would be replacing a stolen stop sign.

• Oct. 20 – A Baraboo caller reported he tried to buy a camper from an area man. He paid the man $300 and now the man will not return the money.

• Oct. 20 – A Weyauwega caller on High Street reported an intoxicated man riding a moped.

• Oct. 20 – A Hortonville caller reported her current boyfriend may have broken his hand while fighting her ex-boyfriend who was bleeding from the forehead.

• Oct. 20 – A New London caller on County Trunk T reported her mother was unstable and her father wasn’t answering the phone.

• Oct. 20 – A Waupaca caller on County Trunk A reported coming home and finding a silver four-door Chevy Cruze parked in her driveway that she did not recognize. The lights were on in her house.

• Oct. 20 – A Waupaca caller on Holmes Road reported a 67-year-old woman with dementia had been drinking and believed her husband was the woman’s friend.

• Oct. 20 – Outagamie County Crisis Center requested a check on a man who was staying at his grandmother’s house. The man stated he “can’t take the voices anymore” and considered lying in the street or cutting his wrists.

• Oct. 21 – The Chain One Stop in Waupaca reported they have on camera a woman who stole a bottle of alcohol.

• Oct. 21 – A Weyauwega caller on County Trunk X reported roofers purposefully damaged a tree by shooting nails into it.

• Oct. 21- A caller reported his sister told him that she was afraid of her husband beating her up again.

• Oct. 21 – An anonymous caller requested to authorities to check on a house that smells like cat. The basement was covered in feces and urine.

• Oct. 21 – A caller reported her brother moved their mother from Sparta against her will, put all of her belongings in storage and took her debit card.

• Oct. 21- An Embarrass caller reported a man was doing excessive burnouts throughout the city every night.

• Oct. 22 – A Waupaca caller on Frost Valley Road requested a check on his neighbor who had not been feeling well. There was no answer when he knocked on the door and the neighbor’s car was there.

• Oct. 22 – An Ogdensburg caller reported a woman used her car the day before and upon return, a keypad was broken and a check was missing from her checkbook.

• Oct. 22 – A Waupaca caller on School Street reported a male in his 30s wearing blue jeans and a black jacket was waving at traffic and running into the street.

• Oct. 22- A Marion woman reported a person was trespassing on her property and putting up steel posts.

• Oct. 22 – A New London woman reported getting a phone call from a crying man who said something like: “Mom and dad, can you hear me?” and hung up. She was concerned and passed along the phone number.

• Oct. 22 – A female caller working as general manager of a store reported a man exposed himself to her at the check-out counter then left. She had it all on video.

• Oct. 22- An Iola woman on Carper Road reported a man getting physical with others.

• Oct. 22 – A Waupaca caller on Berkshire Lane reported her boyfriend was going crazy and throwing stuff into the yard.

• Oct. 22 – A New London caller on Dey Road reported his mailbox was struck. He found a license plate left behind in the ditch.
• Oct. 23 – A Clintonville caller on Kratzke Road reported his ex-girlfriend took two of his shirts and sweatshirts.

• Oct. 23 – A Weyauwega caller on Parker Street reported his daughter texted him stating she will commit suicide.

• Oct. 23 – A Manawa caller on Meadow Lane reported a man who had a warrant for his arrest. He was in the bathroom screaming and pounding.

• During this period, there were many deer-auto collisions and controlled burns. An Embarrass woman reported a dog bite, a caller reported a cat getting run over, cows were reported loose on Pockat Road and there were two reports of one loose horse and three loose cows.
