Tribune-Gazette will still be published

The office that houses the Clintonville Tribune-Gazette and the Clintonville Shoppers Guide closed on Oct. 25.

Dave Wood, director of Operations and Distribution for Multi Media Channels LLC, said closing the office will not disrupt delivery of the Tribune-Gazette or the Shoppers Guide, as those papers will continue to be published each week.

“MMC decided to close the office after evaluating all of our office space in Waupaca County,” Wood said. “Covid impacted how much office space was needed as many employees remained working from home.”

Advances in technology has allowed for this workforce flexibility for employees.

He added, “We still have two offices in Waupaca County to serve readers as needed. One in New London and the other in Waupaca.”

Bound copies of past Tribune-Gazette issues had already been moved to the Clintonville Public Library, while the bound copies of past Shoppers Guide issues were recently moved to the Clintonville History House Museum.

Those wishing to contact the Tribune-Gazette or Shoppers Guide can still call the toll-free phone number at 833-837-6807, visit www.waupacanow.com or visit the Facebook pages for each paper. Clintonville businesses can continue to call on Jeff Hoffman for advertising.

As part of the office closing, MMC is offering items for free on a first-come, first-serve basis from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at 17 Ninth Street in Clintonville.

Items include desks, tables, shelving, file cabinets, paper products, wall pockets, and other various materials.
