Waupaca County sheriff’s report Nov. 13

• Nov. 7 – A Manawa caller on Progress Road reported she heard someone trying to get into her apartment. She was home alone.

• Nov. 7 – An Ogdensburg caller on County Trunk E reported someone on a red single-cab GMC pickup was trespassing on his land.

• Nov. 7 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk X reported his estranged wife was posting harassing things on social media about him. They both have restraining orders on each other.

• Nov. 8 – A Menasha man reported he was hanging upside down by his legs from his tree stand. His black truck was parked in a pull-in at a public hunting area.

• Nov. 8 – A Manawa caller on Voss Lane reported his security company called and told him the back door was open. He checked and it was open. He wasn’t sure if someone was around.

• Nov. 8 – An Iola caller on Division Street reported her mother had been parked in her driveway since 3 a.m. They have not spoken to each other in over a year.

• Nov. 9 – An unknown caller reported that a juvenile intentionally drank some laundry soap 10 minutes earlier and now had stomach pain.

• Nov. 10 – A Waupaca man on Shadow Lake Road reported someone dropped off a green tote by his mailbox and inside were old bones.

• Nov. 10 – Tower Mobil in Waupaca reported two gas drive-offs: one worth $55 by a blue Chevy pickup and another worth $40 by a beige Dodge minivan.

• Nov. 10 – A Clintonville man on Swamp Road reported while his girlfriend was hunting and her vehicle was parked along the road, another vehicle side-swiped it.

• Nov. 10 – A Weyauwega man on State Highway 110 reported problems with his neighbor who was angry and hollered at a worker putting in a gravel driveway.

• Nov. 11 – Dollar General in Embarrass reported a vehicle running with a driver sleeping inside.

• Nov. 11 – A Clintonville man on First Street reported the theft of a camera located at a cornfield that he owns.

• Nov. 11 – Kobussen Bus driver in Iola reported a blue car ran their red lights when discharging students. This occurred near Petersen Road and State Highway 49.

• Nov. 11 – Aspirus Clinic in Waupaca requested a welfare check on a man who called and said he wanted to die. He said he was in pain and did not have anyone or any transportation.

• Nov. 11 – Fleet Farm in Waupaca reported some subjects wearing gray hooded sweatshirts stole gloves and binoculars and took off in a red sedan.

• Nov. 11 – An anonymous caller reported there was a verbal argument at an undisclosed address. About 15 minutes later, there were 4-5 gunshots. The house at the address has a lot of cars and junk in the front yard.

• Nov. 11 – A New London man on County Trunk W reported hearing a loud bang as if someone hit their house. He went outside and saw a shadow of a person heading towards the woods.

• Nov. 12 – A New London woman on Buelow Road reported hunters from the New London Fish and Game Club were trespassing on her land.

• Nov. 12 – A cell phone caller requested an ambulance for a man who discharged a gun and injured his hand.

• Nov. 12 – A Madison man reported contractor fraud. He gave a $6,000 check to a local roofing company.

• Nov. 12 – A Waupaca woman on Lamplighter Lane reported the sound of gunfire near this residential area.

• Nov. 12 – A Clintonville man on Lunz Road reported a person trespassing on his hunting land. A black VW Jetta was parked there.

• Nov. 12 – A Manawa woman on Factory Street reported a blue Ford Focus with no license plates was parked in front of her house for two days and it looked like a man was sleeping in it. The windows were steamed up.

• Nov. 13 – A Weyauwega woman on East Street reported her father put his hands pn her boyfriend’s throat as they were going to leave.

• Nov. 13 – A Bear Creek woman on U.S. Highway 45 reported a break-in at her house.

• Nov. 13 – A Weyauwega woman on Haffner Road reported her boyfriend was pushing her around and slammed the screen door in her face. He was taking things out of the apartment and threatening her.

• Nov. 13 – An Ogdensburg woman on Sever Street reported her 14-year-old daughter was freaking out and being violent. Dispatch reported screaming in the background.

• During this period, the whitetail deer rut was underway and there was large number of deer-auto collisions – the most ever so far this year. Many injured deer needed to be dispatched. One calf was reported in the road near Weyauwega. One dog bite was reported in New London. A black pony was reported missing in New London. An Amazon delivery person reported getting bitten by a dog. There was another dog bite in Marion. Seven cows were reported loose in Bear Creek. A Waupaca woman reported two horses in her front yard.
