Waupaca County sheriff’s report Nov. 27

• Nov. 18 – A Scandinavia man on Smokey Valley Road reported a property owner passed away and the door of his house was wide open.

• Nov. 18 – Waupaca County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a woman’s apartment. Two checks belonging to someone else and taken without permission were found in the bedroom.

• Nov. 18 – A Redgranite caller on Wood Street reported her ex was there. Yelling was overheard on the call and then it disconnected.

• Nov. 19 – Shawano County sheriff deputies requested a K-9 unit to help with a vehicle suspected of having methamphetamine.

• Nov. 19 – A New London caller at Northwoods Village reported his wife and a juvenile were missing. His wife was not answering her phone.

• Nov. 19 – An Appleton man reported a trespassing problem with a black Ford Focus on a property he manages. An argument was overheard on the call.

• Nov. 19 – Waupaca Mobil on West Fulton Street reported a couple in a red Kia with a young child. The caller suspected they may be “tweaking.” They were parked there for 20 minutes and then went around back by the Expo Center.

• Nov. 19 – An Iola caller on County Trunk GG reported a Chevy Avalanche had a gun pointed out the window and a person took a shot at his property.

• Nov. 19 – An Iola woman on Helgeson Road reported her neighbor put tape around her property because he was upset she let people hunt on her land. Previously the neighbor cursed her son-in-law for hunting on her property.

• Nov. 19 – Walgreens in Waupaca reported a man was upset that he could not get his medication and said he was going to kill himself.

• Nov. 19 – A Waupaca man on East Road reported a Ford Fusion hit a power line pole so hard that the pole was leaning at a 45-degree angle.

• Nov. 19 – Dollar General in Fremont reported that they had video of a customer covering up the UPCs of expensive products with UPCs of cheaper products.

• Nov. 20 – An unknown caller reported the illegal dumping of junk tires in the north and south ditches of Mynard Road.

• Nov. 20 – A caller requested an ambulance for a man who fell out of his tree stand near Lake Road and Lutz Road.

• Nov. 20 – A Clintonville caller reported two men tracking a deer across his property without permission.

• Nov. 20 – A female caller reported a husband and wife were involved in drug trafficking and there was “a hit” out for the husband. She believed drug dealers might try to approach their residence on snowmobiles to assassinate him.

• Nov. 21- An Iola caller on County Trunk G reported a man poisoned his dog in September.

• Nov. 21 – Corner Express in Embarrass reported a driver prepaid $1.95 but took off with $15 of fuel in an older gray Ford F150.

• Nov. 21 – A Manawa caller reported her neighbor spilled gasoline and then dumped it in the grass where animals go.

• Nov. 21 – A Waupaca caller on Waupaca Street reported his wife was drinking and trying to cut her arm.
• Nov. 22 – A cellphone caller reported a man’s death. There was no pulse or breathing.

• Nov. 22 – A Scandinavia aller reported she did not hear from an elderly woman all day who was supposed to have a doctor’s appointment. She was later found dead.

• Nov. 22 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home requested a deputy to inspect a fentanyl package that might have been tampered with.

• Nov. 22 – A Manawa caller on County Trunk N reported he suspected a female stole three checks from him and wrote them out to other people to cash.

• Nov. 22 – A Manawa caller reported her sister recently passed away and the landlord changed the locks to her apartment. The pipes burst and the landlord had been taking things from the apartment.

• Nov. 22 – A Waupaca woman on Lauritzen Lane reported a suspicious truck with Minnesota plates was parked for the last two weeks at the end of the road.

• Nov. 23- An Iola caller on North Lake Road reported that two nights ago someone drove down her driveway, sat there a while and then left. The next night her dog was barking outside and she heard someone yell. There were footprints near the house.

• Nov. 23 – A cellphone caller reported his girlfriend was going through withdrawal and threatening to kill herself and her unborn child. She tried jumping out a window earlier.

• Nov. 23 – A Clintonville man on Walnut Road reported someone shining deer and later heard three shots.

• Nov. 23 – An unknown caller reported smoke billowing out of a silo near State Highway 54 and County Trunk Q.

• Nov. 24 – A Waupaca man on King Road was walking his dog when he was attacked by a husky that belonged to a house on Duvenick Lane. He fought the dog off and was bitten.

• Nov. 24 – A New London man on Manske Road reported four mailboxes destroyed and a vehicle headlight was laying next to them.

• Nov. 24 – A Bear Creek woman reported that a man pushed her the night before and it left a mark on her back.

• Nov. 24 – An unknown caller reported a suspicious bright white light between the daycare and Marion Elementary School.

• Nov. 24 – An unknown caller requested an ambulance for a 62-year-old woman having a seizure.

• Nov. 25 – A Manawa caller on Bridge Street reported a woman was threatening to kill herself.

• Nov. 25 – A Clintonville woman on Neitzke Road reported a suspicious van parked behind the out building on their property.

• Nov. 25 – Fleet Farm in Waupaca reported a shoplifter stole some Milwaukee power tools and took off in a gray Hyundai sedan.

• Nov. 25 – A cellphone caller requested an ambulance for a man who completely detached a finger with a grain auger.

• Nov. 25 – An Iola man on County Trunk P reported there was manure on the road so thick that it was hard to pass.

• Nov. 26 – A juvenile caller reported a Waupaca man was sending her text messages about killing himself with a gun.

• Nov. 26 – A New London woman on County Trunk X reported the death of an 82-year-old man.

• Nov. 26 – A Weyauwega woman on Airport Road reported debris from a mailbox was in the road. It was completely detached and left in a cornfield.

• Nov. 26 – A Clintonville man on Seventh Street reported his neighbor unintentionally shot a bullet through his garage.

• Nov. 26 – A Clintonville man on State Highway 156 reported finding tools, DVDs, clothing and CDs on his hunting property.

• Nov. 26 – A Clintonville caller on Kratzke Road reported a man was parked on his land without permission.

• Nov. 26 – A New London man on Larry Road reported he sent photos to someone online and the person replied that if he doesn’t give him some money, the photos will be posted online.

• Nov. 27 – A Weyauwega woman on County Trunk U reported a middle-aged man came to her door and asked if he could park his truck in her driveway for a week. She said no and he got agitated and left.

• Nov. 27 – A Pleasant Prairie man reported his tailgate accidently opened and out went multiple coolers loaded with deer meat and one deer head. It happened between Clintonville and Oshkosh.

• Nov. 27 – A New London woman on Huntley Road reported her husband and son were verbally abusing her and does not feel safe. Her husband had been physically abusive in the past but not now. She said she had been drinking.

• Nov. 27 – An Iola man on State Highway 49 reported a man staying with him stole a box of checks and some tools.

• Nov. 27 – A Scandinavia woman on Silver Lake Road reported the sliding glass door of a cabin was smashed.

• Nov. 27 – A Waupaca man on East Fulton Street reported he was taking heroin and wanted to kill himself.

• Nov. 27 – A male caller reported there were two people hunting on top of the hill in Lindsay Park in Manawa.

• This period was the start of the Wisconsin firearm deer-hunting season and many deer caused auto collisions and had to be dispatched. There were a few controlled burns. There was one report of an uncatchable small white dog running loose near Neitzke Road. There was a report of a husky-type dog chained to a tree without water or shelter. There was a report of a calf running down Zastrow Road. A Clintonville man hit a bear with a Toyota Camry. Three horses were reported wandering loose near North Water Drive. Two dogs were running loose in a field near South River Road in Fremont. Two horses were reported loose on Big Lake Road.
