Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 4

• Nov. 28 – A Manawa caller on Bridge Street reported that his neighbor’s dog was coming onto his property for the past three years. When confronting his neighbor about this, his neighbor said, “Well, we live in the country.”

• Nov. 28 – A Waupaca caller on High Street requested help with her 22-year-old son who said he was depressed and angry.
• Nov. 28 – The Boondocks Bar in Manawa reported getting a worthless check.

• Nov. 28 – A New London woman on Buelow Road reported her father screamed at her, threw her down in the kitchen and pushed her outside. She had marks on her but did not need an ambulance.

• Nov. 28 – Two residents on Laude Road Clintonville reported their mailboxes were knocked over.

• Nov. 28 – Rawhide Youth Services in New London reported the theft of pills, a phone, a charger and a safe from the staff room.
• Nov. 28 – A Fremont caller on River Road reported the death of his wife.

• Nov. 28 – An unknown caller reported a juvenile runaway who was not responding to text messages and was last seen a week ago.

• Nov. 29 – Statewide Recovery reported they would be repossessing a 2013 Ford Explorer.

• Nov. 29 – Waupaca Probation and Parole requested an officer check on a man making homicidal threats.

• Nov. 29 – An unknown caller requested a welfare check on a man who had not been seen for three months. The caller said the has a girlfriend who was isolating him from everyone.

• Nov. 29 – A male caller reported getting a phone call from a man pretending to be his grandson and needed $20,000 to get bailed out of jail.

• Nov. 29 – An unknown caller reported that a woman slit her wrists in a bathroom and was sending pictures. The caller believed the woman was at a motel in Waupaca.

• Nov. 29 – A cell phone caller reported the death of a 67-year-old woman who had difficulty breathing.

• Nov. 29 – An Ogdensburg caller on Hermanson Lake Road reported she checked out of Gateway [rehabilitation center] and wanted to go back. She was now in an unhealthy environment where she did not want to be.

• Nov. 30 – A New London caller on Church Road reported an abandoned pick-up truck with no license plates.

• Nov. 30 – A female caller in her vehicle reported that a student she was transporting was grabbing the steering wheel and taking photos of other students without permission.

• Dec. 1 – A Fremont man on State Highway 96 reported he paid $500 through a cash app to a woman that he was chatting with online. The woman asked him to expose himself. When he did, the woman recorded a video. She was now threatening to send the video to his friends and family.

• Dec. 1 – A Waupaca woman on Duvenick Lane reported her ex-husband starting texting her at 6:45 a.m. and now has sent over 200 messages.

• Dec. 1 – A Scandinavia woman on Blueberry Road reported getting a call from her granddaughter crying that she was in jail and needed $4,000.

• Dec. 1 – A Weyauwega man on Haffner Road reported a man came to his door and then jumped into his red 2005 Ford F150 and took off toward Waupaca on State Highway 10.

• Dec. 1 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home in King reported a couple residents having a verbal argument.

• Dec. 1 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk A reported his Walther 9mm handgun was stolen from his vehicle.

• Dec. 1 – A Manawa caller on Progress Road requested a welfare check on an elderly man. A neighbor reported seeing water pouring down his steps.

• Dec. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Woodland Circle reported waking up at 2 a.m. to the sound of her dog barking. Her front door was open.

• Dec. 2- A Fremont woman on County Trunk W requested help getting out of a relationship that she did not feel safe in.

• Dec. 2 – A Neenah man reported a problem with four trespassers on his leased land.

• Dec. 2 – A Clintonville man on Knack Road reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

• Dec. 2 – A New London woman on Ostrander Road reported she received a message from a man who threatened to make her life at her job a “working hell.” She works at a bar in Outagamie County where the man once overdosed in the bathroom.

• Dec. 2 – A Weyauwega woman on Pine Street reported a problem with identity theft and fraudulent charges.

• Dec. 2 –A Neenah man reported a problem with a person trespassing on his land.

• Dec. 2 – A Waupaca caller on Camp Road reported a woman looked like she was going to break into her vehicle but then kept walking away.

• Dec. 2 – An Iola caller on Grove Street reported an intoxicated man in his silver Nissan truck parked in the driveway.

• Dec. 2 – A Weyauwega woman on White Lake road reported her neighbors were shooting guns while “perusing around her property.”

• Dec. 2 – A Fremont woman on Yochum Drive reported getting a suspicious letter from the IRS stating her daughter’s social security number was stolen.

• Dec. 2 – A male caller reported a trespassing man shot a deer and dragged it across his property. A trail camera captured an image of the hunter.

• Dec. 2 – A Fremont woman on County Trunk W reported her boyfriend was refusing to leave and was shouting at her father.

• Dec. 2 – A Clintonville man on Laude Road reported his neighbor drove by and threw bottles into his yard.

• Dec. 2 – Wally World Tavern in King reported a disorderly person yelling at customers and making comments to woman.

• Dec. 2 – A Fremont woman on Arrowhead Road reported her daughter was staying at their boathouse and made comments to her son over the phone that she is “nearing the end.”

• Dec. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Parfreyville Road reported that her husband and son were yelling at her and wouldn’t leave her alone.
• Dec. 3 – Tags Auto Body in Clintonville reported their mailbox was completely out of the ground and tire tracks were around it.

• Dec. 3 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported people were trespassing on her property.

• Dec. 3 – An alarm company reported that a woman on Terrace Court in Waupaca was being abused by her brother. He pulled her hair, punched her arm and yelled at her if she left her room.

• Dec. 4 – An Amherst woman on Morgan Drive reported three women came into her yard and stole her dog. According to the caller all of them were on drugs.

• Dec. 4 – A Weyauwega woman on Haffner road reported she was in the process of moving. Her ex was there asking her son where his “scale is.”

• Dec. 4 – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office requested a check on a male and female couple who may have been poisoned with rat poison.

• Dec. 4 – A Manawa man on Riverview Drive reported that a woman pushed a mother down the stairs.

• During this period there were fewer deer-auto collisions than the past two weeks. A lone cow was reported in a yard on Lamb Quarters Lane. A horse was reported running loose near Bear Lake Road. A dog bite was reported in Waupaca. A womanreported being bitten by a cat.
