Milton Orin Koehler, age 91 of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at his residence.
Milton was born in Bloomfield, WI on February 8, 1931 the son of Herbert E. and Frieda (Bartel) Koehler, Sr. Milton married Louise Anne Flanner on November 16, 1974 in Oshkosh, WI. Milton was employed for many years at Pluswood in Oshkosh as a Foreman. He was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Milton is survived by his wife, Louise Koehler of Oshkosh. His children, Steve (Kathie) Koehler of Oshkosh, Kathy (Joseph) Dernovsek of Oshkosh, Maureen Capen of Neenah and Bill (Kathy) Capen of Kansas City, MO. One brother, Leland (Pat) Koehler of Montrose, CO. Four grandchildren, Andrea (Mitch) Edbauer, Jeff (Kristin) Koehler, Stephanie Herzog and Mikey Koziczkowski. Three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his parents, one brother, Herbert, Jr, one brother in infancy and one sister, Shirley.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 12 noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 808 N. Main Street. Oshkosh, WI 54901. Elizabeth Sell will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service. Committal services will be held at Lake View Memorial Park on Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Milton’s name.
