Armed robbery in Clintonville


Police seek leads on suspect
Police are looking for the suspect who robbed the Kwik Trip in Clintonville shortly around 11:47 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8.
According to the Clintonville Police Department, a man wearing a mask entered the store, picked up an item then proceeded to the cash register.
When he approached the cash register, the suspect demanded money and items from the cashier. He pulled up his T-shirt and revealed a handgun in his waistband.
After obtaining cash and other items from the clerk, he ran west from the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Law enforcement responded and checked the area and the suspect was not located. The Clintonville Police Department was assisted by the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office and the Marion Police Department.
The Kwik Trip store is located at the intersection of West Madison and South Main streets in the city of Clintonville.
Clintonville police have distributed images from a security camera at the store.
Investigators ask area businesses and residents to check any surveillance video they have that may show the suspect. Anyone with information on this robbery are asked to contact the Clintonville police at 715-823-3117.
