Waupaca County sheriff’s report Feb. 19

• Feb. 13 – A Waupaca caller on Evans Street reported a man was harassing her and would not leave her house.

• Feb. 13 – A Fremont woman on County Trunk II reported vandalism and theft regarding a civil dispute.

• Feb. 13 – A Clintonville man on Dobbs Road reported a suspicious vehicle followed his wife while she was out for a run. The vehicle kept turning around and would park on the road and watch her.

• Feb. 13 – A Weyauwega caller on County Trunk U reported seeing suspicious lights in the sky and stated, “China is on the run again.”

• Feb. 13 – A New London caller on Stage Road reported that people were trespassing on her land day and night and were shooting things at her house.

• Feb. 14 – Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca requested help with traffic control for a funeral procession.

• Feb. 14 – An Ogdensburg woman on St. Lawrence Street reported an electrical box was sparking.

• Feb. 14 – A Waupaca woman on Stratton Lake Road reported a female would not leave a man alone. A person was bitten earlier but declined an ambulance.

• Feb. 15 – A Waupaca man on Shadow Road reported that a St. Bernard and a black Labrador retriever were defecating in his yard.

• Feb. 15 – Rawhide Youth Services requested an officer to help with a domestic situation between two unmarried staff members.

• Feb. 15 – A Fremont caller on Peters Road reported someone tried to open an account under his name with the Bank of America.

• Feb. 15 – Eastside Mobil in Waupaca reported a gas drive-off valued at $38. The vehicle was a silver Pontiac.

• Feb. 15 – A Weyauwega caller on County Trunk X reported a suspicious vehicle with a wooden trailer was parked in front of her house for two hours. It left one time and came back.

• Feb. 15 – A Waupaca caller on Chad Court reported the theft of two packages from her front doorstep.

• Feb. 15 – An anonymous caller reported a person in a silver Ford Explorer was driving around drunk and that there might be drugs in the vehicle. The caller provided an address where the vehicle parked.

• Feb. 15 – A Waupaca woman reported a person left a bar stumbling and was heading to Iola on State Highway 161 in a brown Ford Edge.

• Feb. 16 – A caller from the Philippines requested a welfare check on her aunt as she was having trouble contacting her.

• Feb. 16 – A Waupaca caller on Radley Road reported someone struck his mailbox.

• Feb. 16 – A Marion caller on Pockat Road reported a woman was harassing him.

• Feb. 16 – A Marion man on Long Lake Road reported a trail camera and solar panel were stolen.

• Feb. 16 – A Clintonville caller reported a person threw bottles into his yard.

• Feb. 16 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a disorderly conduct situation where one youth was injured and sent to the emergency room.

• Feb. 16 – An Iola woman on Wasrud Road reported two unusually bright stars in the sky. The dispatcher advised her that there was nothing law enforcement could really do about that.

• Feb. 17 – An unknown caller reported a person was going to commit suicide by overdosing on some medication.

• Feb. 17 – A Weyauwega caller on State Highway 49 reported tht someone took her car without permission and she ad no idea where he went. He just got out of rehab for methamphetamine addiction.

• Feb. 18 – A Waupaca woman on Mynard Road reported that a suspicious car parked near her home and turned its lights off.

• Feb. 18 – A Waupaca woman on Meadow View Court reported the death of an 84-year-old man who fell.

• Feb. 19 – Little River Meats in Weyauwega reported some money missing and requested to speak with an officer.

• Feb. 19 – A juvenile caller reported that their parents were fighting. It was not physical at this time but it has been in the past.

• Feb. 19 – A female called reported that a man told his cousin that he wanted to kill himself. She was unsure if he had a plan but she stated that “he is a man of his word.”

• Feb. 19 – An anonymous caller reported an underage drinking party.

• There was an average number of deer-auto collisions during this period. A handful of residents called in controlled burns. A lost yellow Labrador retriever was taken to the Weyauwega Police Department. A driver struck a raccoon that damaged the vehicle so badly it could be reported as an insurance claim.
