Schultz, Dorothy M.

Dorothy M. Schultz of Black Creek passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2023 at the age of 86.

Dorothy was born to Mason and Elsie Maxam in Little Black WI. She married Gordon Schultz in Dorchester WI and would have celebrated their 65th anniversary in June of this year.
Dorothy and Gordy moved from Marshfield WI to the Greenville area in 1961 where they raised seven children, they then moved to New London in 1989. In 1998 they moved to Mesa AZ where they spent their winters and then summered in WI.

Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, bowling, wood working, and camping. She had a smart wit and always seemed to have a sarcastic come back. She never skimped on her choice words while reprimanding her kids.

Dorothy valued her family. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Gordon. Grandchildren – Jaime (Scott) Kriewaldt, Tony (Janelle) Beyer, Shelly (Chris) Desterheft, Tom (Angie) Neubert, Lisa (Adam) Mertz, Drew Schultz, Tanner Schultz, Maxwell DuFrane, Brandon Fox, Alex and Spencer Schultz, Bret and Will Stenson. 12 great grandchildren. Special friends – Connie Jarworski and Peg Pytko.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father in-law Arthur and Lucille Schultz, sister and brother in-law Lucille and Jack Wild, Grandson Mason Schultz, and Grandson in-law Brian Bloedorn.

The family would like to thank Unity Hospice. A special thanks to mom’s “scrubber” Heather.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mom always said “I’m fine!”. She is now “Fine” in heaven with her family and many friends.
