One dead, another hospitalized
One woman is dead and a man is seriously injured following an incident in Hortonville.
Police were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Spruce Street shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday for a report of two unresponsive individuals.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased woman and a man with serious injuries.
Officers immediately began life-saving measures and the man was taken to a local hospital.
The state Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the death.
The Hortonville Police Department, Wisconsin State Crime Lab, Outagamie County Coroner’s Office and DCI crime response specialists are assisting the investigation.
Officials said there is no danger to the public at this time.
