Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 27

• March 17 – Theda Care-at-Home requested assistance with returning a patient to his home where a Rottweiler had been living alone for a week.

• March 17 – A Waupaca man on Bunker Road reported a truck with dual-rear wheels pulled into his driveway and a person went into his garage and was looking in windows. There were tracks in the snow.

• March 17 – A Manawa male on Dr Drive reported a juvenile was trying to get his parents on the ground. The youth has schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.

• March 17 – On this day there was an extremely high number of traffic stops.

• March 18 – A Waupaca woman on Lamplighter reported the death of a 32-year old male. He was cold to the touch.

• March 18 – A Clintonville caller on Woodsman Lane reported a man was threatening to come tomorrow to hurt him.

• March 18 – A New London man on Collier Road reported a woman was writing checks out to herself from the his checkbook.

• March 18 – A Weyauwega woman on Main Street reported the sounds of screaming, thumping and yelling of a man and woman.

• March 18 – New London Police Department reported a woman was walking along the ditch towards New London. She had no clothing.

• March 19 – An anonymous caller reported the sound of people yelling and throwing things around at an address located north of New London.

• March 19 – An anonymous caller reported a dog that runs loose and defecates in his yard.

• March 19 – A Waupaca woman on Franklin Street reported a woman who was out on bond was drunk and in her yard with a man.

• March 19 – Marion man on Garfield Street reported child abuse. The caller reported marks on a girl’s body but the girl would not say how she got them.

• March 19 – Waupaca County sheriff’s deputies assisted with a traffic stop where one person was tased, one detained in the vehicle and another one running with police in pursuit.

• March 19 – A male caller reported an overdose. Two people were taken to ThedaCare in New London after they took 40-60 pills throughout the day.
• March 19 – A caller reported a runaway juvenile from Rawhide.

• March 20 – A New London woman on Jennings Road reported a suspicious man in a Carhartt jacket, a baseball cap and jeans standing outside of her home taking photos.

• March 20 – Rawhide Youth Services reported property damage by a juvenile.

• March 20 – A Marion woman on Pigeon River Shores reported an out-of-control juvenile trying to beat up a person.

• March 21 – A Waupaca caller on East Road reported what appeared to be a bullet hole in the passenger side of his truck.

• March 21 – A Fremont woman on Puuri Road reported she received a letter from the DMV stating that someone tried to get a license under her name.

• March 21 – Rawhide Youth Services reported two runaways.

• March 22 – A Clintonville man on Bear Creek Road reported his door was open when he came home and money was missing.

• March 22 – Waupaca County Health and Human Services reported a person making suicidal comments.

• March 22 – A 911 caller reported the death of a 73-year-old man. He was unresponsive and had no pulse.

• March 22 – A female caller reported she had $2,200 in a drawer and it was missing.

• March 22 – A male caller reported his mentally ill brother was there and wanted to talk. The caller did not want to talk. He just wanted his brother to leave.

• March 22 – An anonymous caller reported a woman was doing hard drugs, possibly methamphetamine and she believed the female’s car registration was expired.

• March 23 – A Clintonville man on Laude Street reported a neighbor was throwing bottles and glass into his son’s driveway.

• March 23 – A New London man on Depot Street reported his neighbor was shooting at squirrels in his front yard and aimed in the direction of the caller’s residence.

• March 23 – A Waupaca woman on Ferg Lane reported her daughter was not stable. She left in a blue car yelling and making suicidal threats.

• March 23 – ThedaCare security in Neenah reported a patient left with an IV stuck in his arm.

• March 23 – An Almond man on County Trunk D reported an aggressive pit bull.

• March 23 – A Marion man on County Trunk G requested a welfare check on a woman. She walking down the road and approached him to pet his horses.

The woman then fell in the ditch. She was crying and said she walking to Clintonville.

• March 23 – A Manawa woman on Wells Street reported a depressed and stressed man cut his wrists and was bleeding.

• March 23 – A New London woman on Manske Road reported a 75-year-old man acting disoriented, perhaps it was the onset of a stroke.

• March 23 – An unknown caller reported a man was doing burnouts in a black Chevy truck. The caller said the man was not supposed to be drinking and said, “This is how he was acting last time.”

• March 25 – A Waupaca woman on Ferg Lane reported a man that she has a restraining order against screamed at her the day before and he made contact with her on this day.

• March 25 – A Waupaca man on Stratton Lake Road reported someone hit his mailbox.

• March 25 – A Stevens Point man reported a woman was very intoxicated and she fell and hit her head. He requested an officer for help.

• March 25 – A Manawa caller on E-Z Road reported his soon-to-be ex-wife was on his property, breaking and entering.

• March 25 – A Manawa man on State Highway 110 reported 27-year-old man that he found dead. It was a possible overdose.

• March 25- A Manawa caller on Swan Road reported his flight out of Chicago was cancelled. He wanted to speak to an officer about getting a refund.

• March 26 – A Waupaca caller on Woodland Circle reported he was at a Boy Scout event the night before and his child was assaulted. The youth in the bottom bunk used a bar of soap in a sock and hit the caller’s child multiple times.

• March 26 – A Waupaca man on Arrowhead Drive reported someone struck his mailbox.

• March 26 – A Little Chute man reported a suspicious silver SUV with a woman sleeping inside near Country Trunk H and State Highway 10.

• March 26 – Dollar General in Embarrass reported the theft of $77 worth of merchandise.

• March 26 – A New London caller on Stage Road reported trespassers on her property.

• March 26 – Skippers Waterside Bar and Grill in Fremont reported a man refusing to leave. Also a man pulled a gun on another customer.

• March 27 – A Waupaca caller on East Fulton Street reported a 36-year-old unconscious woman.

• There were an average number of deer-auto collisions during this period. There were an above-average number of callers on the road reporting reckless driving and speeding vehicles. The number of callers reporting controlled burns increased. ThedaCare in Shawano reported a cat bite. A loose Great Dane was reported in Weyauwega.
