Darlene Ann Beyersdorf, age 70, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice Facility in Appleton on Friday, March 31, 2023.
She was born on July 28, 1952 in Waupaca to the late Gerhard and Jean (Abrahamson) Handrich. On December 11, 1971, she was united in marriage to Duane Beyersdorf at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. They celebrated 41 years together until he preceded her in death in 2013.
Darlene is survived by her son: Michael (Andrea) Beyersdorf; daughter: Christine (Scott) Becker; grandchildren: Paige (Taylor) Kern, Jessica (RJ) Lochmann, Mary Perket, Cody (fiance Marissa Mason) Becker, Carson Beyersdorf, Katelyn Beyersdorf; great-grandchildren: Natalia Kern, Arya Lochmann; sister: Judy (Kenneth) Bartel; brothers-in-law: Gerald (Pam) Beyersdorf, Ronald (Judy) Beyersdorf, George (Lavonne) Beyersdorf, Everett Morgan.
Besides her parents and her husband, Darlene was preceded in death by her sister-in-law: Virginia Morgan.
The funeral service for Darlene will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Rev. Andy Behrendt officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King.
