
Janet Marie Hoffmann (nee Westphal) died peacefully at her home in Bradenton, Florida on June 27, 2023.
Janet was born to Arthur and Verna (Hansen) Westphal on March 1, 1941 in Clintonville.
Janet attended schools in Clintonville.
On Sept. 23, 1961 she was married to Dale Hoffmann. They enjoyed many years of traveling, snowmobiling, boating, and time with the hunting shack family.
Janet held several different positions in banking and care facilities during her working career. In 2004 she moved to Bradenton, Florida.
Janet was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Moose, American Legion and Eagles. She formerly held a position as a Unit Commander and Adjutant Conductor for DAVA State of Florida.
Janet was proceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Verna; husband, Dale; her in-laws, Emil and Wilma; brother, Rueben; sister, Dorothy; and a special friend Vernon Isham of Florida.
Janet is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Enky) Hoffmann of Florida, 2 grandsons, Zachary (Abigail) Hoffmann and Bryce Hoffmann of Howards Grove, WI.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Sarah Voskuil-Hoffmann, the mother of her grandsons.
Janet is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Carol Beck, Roger (Pat) Westphal, Fred (Dee Dee) Westphal and Elaine (Lee) Nowak, many nieces and nephews and two godchildren, Kathy Schoenike Dewhurst and Susan Nutter.
Janet was loved deeply by family and many friends. Her family filled her heart with pride, joy and love.
Private graveside services will be held in Clintonville at a later date.
