Margaret A. Schoneck, age 64 of the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening July 5, 2023
at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.
Margaret was born on February 7, 1959 in Clintonville as the daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Detert) Schoneck. She graduated from Marion High School with the Class of 1977 and began working at A&W Restaurant in Clintonville. She was united in marriage to Terry Schoneck on May 24, 1980. The couple joined St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Symco where Margaret volunteered her time as a Sunday School Teacher and served on the Altar Guild, Ladies Aid, Sarah Circle, Board of Education, and Busy Bees Sewing Group. In 1989 the couple purchased the family farm where they raised their son Robert and have lived ever since.
Margaret also worked as the Office Assistant for State Farm Insurance in Clintonville for over 20 years prior to her retirement due to health reasons. Margaret enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, deer hunting with family, crocheting, reading, watching old westerns, and in general just life on the farm with her family. Her amazing smile was definitely a window into her personality.

Special Niece: Candy (Ron) Graper.
Nephew: Wade (Kerri Kolaske) Schoneck.
Brother-in-law: Gary (Barb) Schoneck.
Also numerous cousins.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband Terry in 2020, in-laws Leland and Edith Schoneck, and by a brother-in-law Evan Schoneck.
Margaret’s funeral service will be held Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 11am at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Interment will take place at the Schoneck Family Cemetery in the Town of Dupont. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
