Carroll Roger Steinbach, age 89, of Weyauwega, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
He was born on July 27, 1933, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Frederick and Charlotte (Gutshow) Steinbach. Carroll graduated from Brillion High School. In 1966 the whole family moved to Weyauwega. He was a licensed cheese maker and worked in the dairy industry for many years. He was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.
He is survived by his son, Roger Steinbach; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: John (Jean) Hedtke, Sue Hedtke; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Carroll in death were his parents; wife, Carol; second wife, Elaine (Zabel) Steinbach; father and mother-in law, John (Lefa) Hedtke; daughter, Margo Steinbach; son, Lon Steinbach; step-children: Mona Zick, Richard Zabel, Beverly Wood, Judy Jennerjohn, Stanley Zabel; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Angie, Arndt and Ilene Quaintance, Eugene Hedtke; nieces: Diane Brighum, Judy Hass, Pamela Gerou, Penny Hedtke; nephew, Brian Hedtke.
The Christian Funeral Service for Carroll was held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Aaron Kristopeit officiating. A visitation was held at the church on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Dahlke Funeral & Cremation Care of Weyauwega served the family.
