Roselind Mae Flanagan (nee Robbins), 83, of King, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2023.

Roselind was born on May 4, 1940 in Farmington, Wisconsin, where through much of her early years she lived a country life on a farm outside Waupaca.  Roselind was the second of five children of Vernon L. Robbins and Dorothy E. Robbins (nee Testin).

Roselind graduated from Waupaca High School in 1958, and then held bookkeeping jobs at Hardware Mutual Casualty Company in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.  Roselind met Donald J. Flanagan at Bear Lake Resort in 1960 and they married in Manawa, Wisconsin at Sacred Heart Church on May 27, 1961.  Don then travelled overseas for military service after which their two children, Kevin and Kathleen, were born in Waupaca.  In 1966, the family moved to the Chicago area in Hanover Park, where Roselind raised their children while working as a bookkeeper and enjoying activities such as community service and playing softball.  Roselind often returned to the Waupaca area to spend time with her family and friends, and in 2015 she moved back and most recently resided at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin.

Roselind will be remembered by her family and friends as a kind, caring, supportive, witty, creative, loyal, loving wife and mother, and a strong-willed, principled person.  In her free time, she enjoyed solving puzzles, sewing, telling stories, and watching her favorite classic movies.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and their families.
