Heise. Thomas J.

Thomas J. Heise, age 57 of New London, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and children on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Tom was born in New London on March 3, 1966 to Ronald and the late Joanne (Elsholtz) Heise. On December 16, 1988 he married the love of his life, Vicky Wedelstadt and would soon be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary. Together they brought one lovely daughter and three sons into this world. Tom worked at Graveyard Auto and Towing and Auto Pro Express. Previously he spent many years volunteering on the Mukwa Fire Department. He loved working alongside his family. Tom cherished spending his time with his children and grandchildren, where he developed a lifelong passion for fishing, hunting and demolition derbies. You could also find him spending time around the campfire with friends and family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Vicky; children, Brett (Shalon) Heise, Alicia (Josh) Bruette, Jacob (Ariana) Heise and Jordan (Kate) Heise; grandchildren, Rafe, Ajay and Gavyn; grand dogs, Dixie, Lexi and Zeus; father, Ronald Heise; siblings, Barbara (Roger) Krueger, Susan (Kevin) Schramm, Patricia (Ben) Bressler, Stephen (Cathy) Heise and Mark (Mark) Heise; brother-in-law, Mike (Kelsey) Wedelstadt and sister-in-law, Tammy (John) Berna. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne; grandparents, Paul and Marie Heise and Kenneth and Virginia Elsholtz and father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Yvonne Wedelstadt.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Tom will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating. The visitation will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London and again on Friday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.

The family of Thomas J. Heise will be gathering to celebrate his life at their home following mass. They would be honored if you would join them. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Tom’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Froedtert and Compassus Hospice. A special thank you to Dr. Candice and David Johnstone, along with Kristie Wickman and the staff at Acension. Also thank you to friends and family who reached out and offered support during this very difficult time-especially Lynn Faucher, Jane Heise, Aunt Kay and Uncle Jim Bousman.
