Charley B. Alswager, age 37, of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 23, 2023.
He was born on July 29, 1986 in New London, WI, the son of and Karen Looker and the late Joel Alswager.
Charley graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 2004 and later worked for Waupaca County Industries.
Charley had unique personality and liked to have fun. He especially enjoyed his Friday night fish fries, a good old fashion and most of all a good cigar.
He loved watching the Green Bay Packers, and seeing fire trucks, fireman and police officers.
Charley is survived by his mother, Karen; half brother, Taylor Looker(Amanda Rochefort); he loved being a foster brother to, James, Ethan, and Sophie “Elijah”. He is also survived by two nephews, Luka and Eli; aunts and uncles, Kevin (Kim) Stalker, Kathy (Dan) Behn, Kris Stalker and Steve(Beth)Stalker, many cousins other relatives and friends.
Charley was preceded in death by his father, Joel; a sister, Samantha Alswager, a brother, Jacob Alswager and his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Kay Stalker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 11:00 am at Zion United Church of Christ, W9803 WI-96, Fremont,(Dale) WI . Pastor Jennifer Czarnota will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont. Visitation will be held at Lewin Funeral Home on Sunday, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm and on Monday at the church from 10AM until the time of service.
