Finnegan's Wake, parade photos and more

The city of New London – or rather, New Dublin – wrapped up another week of annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities on Saturday, March 17.

The theme for 2018 was "Where the Irish pride is mighty!" All of the traditional events were back this year with the New London sign change on Monday, corned beef and cabbage on Tuesday, Irish caroling at senior living centers on Wednesday, an evening of entertainment on Thursday, a ceili dance on Friday, and finally, the Grand Parade and Irish Fest on Saturday.

The Irish Rose was Arlene Birkholz, the Irish Man Randy Genske and the Grand Marshals Dan and Lovana Rice.
