A big sixth inning helped Almond-Bancroft pick up a Central Wisconsin Conference softball win over Weyauwega-Fremont.
The Eagles scored four times in the top of the sixth inning May 7 and went on to hand the Warhawks a 7-1 loss in Weyauwega.
Each team scored a run in the opening inning and the Eagles took the lead for good with a run in second before adding another in the fourth to go up 3-1.
The Eagles outhit the Warhawks 10-5.
The Warhawks fell to 1-4 on the season, hosted Bonduel May 10 and will travel to Iola Thursday, May 13, for a CWC East Division matchup with Iola-Scandinavia. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
