Amherst takes down Rosholt on the road

Amherst Falcons traveled to Rosholt on May 17 to get their 14th win of the season.

Sully Perkins drove in the first run for Amherst with an RBI double to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead.

Rosholt tied the game in the bottom of the first inning with an RBI single by Tyler Kluck that made it a 1-1 game.

Michael Glodowski drove in a run in the second inning to give Amherst a 2-1 lead with an RBI single. AJ O’Brien hit an RBI single to make the score 3-1.

Kluck hit his second RBI of the game on a single to cut the deficit to 3-2 for Rosholt.

Glodowski drove in his second run as he had an RBI single to make it a 4-2 in the fourth inning. The score became 5-2 after an RBI double by O’Brien.

Amherst scored four more insurance runs in the seventh inning to make the final score 10-2.
