Arrested for child porn

WEYAUWEGA – On Monday, June 2, arrested a suspect in a child pornography investigation and his residence was searched. He was booked in the Waupaca County Jail for possession of child pornography.
According to Police Chief Brandon Leschke, the Weyauwega Police Department received a tip regarding child sexual abuse material in April of this year. They opened an investigation and found the person of interest resided in Weyauwega. They were assisted by the Division of Criminal Investigation of the WI Department of Justice, the Waupaca Police Department, and the Clintonville Police Department.
