Deborah C. Berndt, age 60 of Clintonville, passed away Wednesday morning August 9, 2023
at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton.
Deborah was born on November 2, 1962 in Milwaukee as the daughter of the late Frank Romano and Bonnie Fenner. She moved with her family to the Marion area while in school and graduated with the Marion High School Class of 1981. Deborah was united in marriage to Randy Berndt on April 27, 1996 at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville. She worked a number of jobs throughout her life but was mainly known as a Judicial Assistant for Judge Ray Huber from 1989 – 2023, retiring in February due to her failing health. Deborah proudly earned the title of Municipal Judge for the City of Clintonville in May of this year. She also was the first female firefighter for the city. Deborah and Randy had a love for collecting classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows whenever possible.
Deborah is survived by her daughters: Baylie (Ryan Kucksdorf) Berndt & Taylor Fenner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Randy in 2008.
