Jack Rhodes will present a brief bridge lesson at 8:30 a.m., with play to commence promptly at 9 a.m. All area bridge players are invited to attend, and refreshments will be served.
In bridge action on Oct. 8, Waupaca's own Bobby Burns and Neenah's Sally Hamm took first-place honors North/South, with Arnold Miller and Joan Wasserberg close behind in second place. Stephanie Schwingel, Coloma, and Wayne Larson, Ripon, claimed N/S third-place honors, while N/S Honorable Mention went to Karen Holly and Carol Peotter.
Janet Liska and Nancy Ogreenc, both now residing in Wautoma, won the East/West competition by a whisker over second-place finishers Jan Rich, Green Lake, and Carol Konrad, Neshkoro. Waupaca's team of Joan Ryan and Genny Eskritt claimed third-place E/W to round out the winners' circle, with the Oshkosh duo of Herman and Sharon Schatz qualifying for E/W Honorable Mention.
