The Bulldogs scored twice in the first and five times in the second before adding a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth.

New London also outhit Waupaca 13-4. Three of Waupaca’s hits came on back-to-back-to-back singles in the bottom of the fourth.

Leah Porath and winning pitcher Molly O’Connell had two hits for the Bulldogs. O’Connell worked the first three innings to record the win on the mound, while Porath pitched the fourth and fifth to earn the save.

Brenna Oleson had two hits to lead Waupaca at the plate.
