With down pouring rain, the New London Bulldogs found the back of the net in the opening playoff game as they defeated Campbellsport 7-0 at home in the WIAA girl’s soccer regional.
The Bulldogs had several opportunities that went just wide of the net in the opening minutes. Still, Ava Neely cashed in for their first goal at 23:09.
Neely scored her second goal of the contest at the 37:19 mark to give New London a 2-0 lead.
Wynter Krull scored the third goal of the match to give the Bulldogs the 3-0 lead at the beginning of the second half.
It was a 4-0 score at 49:28 when Joselyn Eckhart extended the lead for her team.
New London continued to pour it on as Krull scored her second goal of the match, and the score became 5-0.
It was 6-0 at 65:51 as the Bulldogs offense continued to stay on the attack.
Eckhart scored her second goal of the match with 68:20 on the clock to close out the regional matchup 7-0.
