Bulldogs softball loses at home against Shawano

New London fell against a visiting Shawano team on Tuesday, May 6, struggling to make early runs.

Both teams were held scoreless through four innings. In the fifth inning, Shawano got their bats going, as Kadence Meyers had an RBI single to give her team a 1-0 lead.  Hannah Yeager hit an RBI single to make it 2-0.  Gracee Johnson drove in another run to make the score 3-0.

The lone run for the Bulldogs scored when Aubree Schmude drove in Chesney Magolski in the sixth inning.

In the seventh inning, Yeager knocked in an insurance run for a score of 4-1, and Jaelyn Hietpas stole home to make the final score 5-1.
