Calling 911

• Dec. 9 – A male caller reported he discovered a man captured on his trail camera. The man appeared to be coyote hunting and was trespassing.

• Dec. 9 – A Clintonville caller on Eighth Street reported being charged by dogs at Pigeon Lake Wayside Park. She also noted the dogs poop everywhere and the owner doesn’t pick up after them.

• Dec. 9 – An Iola man on State Road reported the theft of some tools.

• Dec. 9 – A Clintonville man on Main Street reported a stepchild was punching and kicking the parents and throwing a tantrum. The caller wanted to know about parents’ rights and just how much he could punish the youth.

• Dec. 10 – Hometown Pharmacy in Waupaca reported someone broke through a wall and tore out insulation to gain access. The caller had not yet entered the premise.

• Dec. 10 – A Waupaca caller on Main Street reported his child was talking to a person on TikTok and the person sent inappropriate messages and asked the child to send some photos.

• Dec. 10 – The Wisconsin Department of Revenue in Appleton reported a man talked about harming himself and before hanging up he said he was going to “grab the gun and off himself.”

• Dec. 10 – Manawa Elementary School reported a sick raccoon on the property with another nearby in a cornfield that was acting strange. Two deputies recently received similar calls and were dispatching raccoons.

• Dec. 10 – An Appleton caller reported she owns property and all of the buildings on the property are condemned. She learned that people are living there but does not know who.

• Dec. 10 – A Marion caller on Second Street reported two women were sending or sharing photos of a minor via Facebook.

• Dec. 10 –An unknown caller reported there was a youth climbing on the side of her house and trying to break into a window.

• Dec. 10 – A Manawa man on Bridge Street reported his girlfriend was suicidal and kept saying that she wants to die.

• Dec. 10 –A Waupaca woman on County Trunk X reported a bunch of Amazon boxes scattered along the road.

• Dec. 12 – Kwik Trip on Fulton Street in Waupaca reported a car and truck were boxing each other in and the drivers were yelling at each other.

• Dec. 12 – A female caller reported a man was stalking her. He found out where she volunteers and stops by everyday to speak to her. He waits outside for her and follows her inside.

• Dec. 12 – A Waupaca man on Apple Tree Lane reported a woman was having a mental episode and she sent the caller the same text message 15 times.

• Dec. 12 – An Ogdensburg woman reported seeing a boy wearing a black hooded run behind Taco Bell and then to Joann Lane. An older dark-colored sedan sped out of the parking lot after the boy.

• Dec. 12 – A Weyauwega woman on Galilee Road reported a shed was one fire.

• Dec. 13 – An anonymous caller reported people that were living in a camper.

• Dec. 13 – A Waupaca caller on Lamplighter Lane reported her solar lights were knocked over again.

• Dec. 13 –A Scandinavia man on Lake Street reported people were riding dirt bikes on a lake and one went through the ice. The driver got out, had a bloody nose and was very wet.

• Dec. 13 – Rawhide Youth Services reported property damage to walls and shower doors.

• Dec. 13 – A Waupaca caller on Erickson Road reported a man was sending him harassing messages.

• Dec. 13 – A male caller reported his stepfather was drunk and “going after” his mother.

• Dec. 14 – A Pine River caller provided the address of a residence playing loud music and she suspected it was an underage party.

• Dec. 14 – An Embarrass caller on Grand Avenue reported he ex-husband was sending people to her house. One man had visited twice.

• Dec. 14 – The Chain Bar and Grill requested a welfare check on a daily customer that had not stopped in for some time. Other patrons checked his house and nothing was changed.

• Dec. 14 – An Ogdensburg caller on County Trunk K reported he got into a verbal altercation with a person about their reckless driving and a passenger pulled a knife on him.

• Dec. 14 – Rawhide Youth Services reported two juvenile runaways.

• Dec. 15 – Gold Cross Ambulance reported a suspicious man was pounding on the door and demanding that they give him a ride to a person’s house.

• Dec. 15 – A Waupaca man on Murray Lane reported finding tracks near his mailbox where a vehicle was parked. The suspicious footprints went to the back of his house.

• Dec. 15 – A female caller requested a welfare check on a man who was intoxicated and depressed. He was saying that he wants things to be over and wants to die.

• Dec. 15 – Rawhide Youth Services reported three juvenile runaways.

• There were seven deer-related calls during this period, including one where a driver swerved to miss a deer and struck a mailbox instead. Eight controlled burn were called in. An anonymous caller reported a case of neglected cattle. Another anonymous caller reported a neglected dog with no food or shelter. Waupaca ER reported an Ogdensburg man was bitten by his own dog. One driver reported hitting a wild turkey and it smashed his windshield. A Waupaca woman reported being bitten by her own dog.
