• Dec. 16 –The Waupaca High School reported a Snapchat message threatening harm was sent to multiple people in the school.

• Dec. 16 – A Scandinavia woman on Main Street reported she sent a $350 money order that never arrived.

• Dec. 16 – A Waupaca man on Nichols Creek Road reported a civil dispute involving a skid steer.

• Dec. 16 – A male caller requested a welfare check for a woman spotted in a ditch and wrapped in a blanket. No vehicle was nearby.

• Dec. 16 – A Fremont woman on State Highway 49 reported her son was making suicidal comments.

• Dec. 16 – A New London woman on Oscar Way reported a suspicious vehicle in front of her house taking photos of her neighbors’ homes. It was a blue-gray Pontiac and a female driver.

• Dec. 17 –A Waupaca woman on Oak Street reported her alcoholic son was making suicidal comments and was planning on choking himself with a large zip tie.

• Dec. 17 – A Clintonville woman on Grand Avenue reported evidence of drug activity after the renters moved out.

• Dec. 17 – A Waupaca woman on Draeger Road reported her mailbox was destroyed.

• Dec. 17 – Schueller’s Great Exspechtations reported a 50-year-old male was having a seizure and was possibly intoxicated.

• Dec. 17 – A New London woman on Bear Lake Road reported a man was at Kwik Trip and looked like he was under the influence of something. He threatened to drive to the hospital to kill doctors.

• Dec. 17 – A Waupaca man on Spencer Lake Road reported his father-in-law pointed a gun at him.

• Dec. 17 – A Clintonville man on Main Street reported a juvenile was out of control and yelling, screaming and hitting him.

• Dec. 17 – A Monroe woman requested a welfare check on a local man who messaged her and stated he wanted to harm himself. The caller video chatted with him while he held a knife to his throat.

• Dec. 18 – A Weyauwega woman on Harlon Street reported a male keeps opening the car door while she was driving and was threatening her.

• Dec. 18 – A Clintonville woman on Nature Road reported fraudulent charges on her credit care totaling $8,000.


• Dec .18 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported trespassers were shooting and placing things in her house, including putting “cyber” into her house.

• Dec. 18 – Goodwill in Waupaca reported a missing employee.

• Dec. 18 – A Clintonville caller on County Trunk Y reported her daughter was receiving threatening messages from an Appleton female. “You’re not safe. Don’t go outside” read one message. The person also threatened to pepper spray the daughter.

• Dec. 18 – A Waupaca woman on Division Street reported an ATV accident. The person was unconscious but breathing.

• Dec. 18 – The Land Management office in the Waupaca County Courthouse reported a man came in and said he was suicidal and homicidal.

• Dec. 18 – A New London man on State Highway 54 reported a well-drilling company threatened to come to his house and dig up the well they just put in.
• Dec. 18 – A Fremont man on Loon Drive reported he used a card to buy gas at BP. He paid inside and when he walked on, he received a $500 fraud alert.

• Dec. 18 –A Fremont man on Wisconsin Street reported a fatal accident. A vehicle struck a telephone pole.

• Dec. 18 –A Marion woman on Garfield Street reported her husband was hitting her.

• Dec. 18 – A Manawa woman on Factory Street reported a juvenile runaway and believed the youth was picked up by someone.

• Dec. 19 – A Waupaca man on Melody Lane reported a missing Amazon package.

• Dec. 19 – A Waupaca woman on Stoltenberg Road requested an officer accompany her to her husband’s address. He has dementia and owns firearms. She had to retrieve some property and she was concerned the husband might become confused and try to harm her.

• Dec. 19 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident missing $150.

• Dec. 19 – A Waupaca man on East Road reported a suspicious maroon car parked at the end of his driveway for over an hour.

• Dec. 19 – The Manawa School District reported a message sent from one student to another about killing another juvenile and clawing that person with fingernails to cause harm.

• Dec. 20 – An Ogdensburg woman on Darth Road reported her son turned off the gas to her stove. She requested an officer to turn it back on. She did not know how to do it.

• Dec. 20 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported her ex-boyfriend was harassing her and offering people a reward to find her.

• Dec. 20 – A Waupaca woman on Lamplighter Lane reported her outdoor solar lights were tampered with.

• Dec. 20 – The New London Police Dept. reported a situation where a juvenile was sleeping on the floor in a residence with no heat.

• Dec. 20 – A Fremont man on Wolf River Drive reported he was communicating with a woman on Tinder. She was now sending messages threatening to kill the caller and beat him up.

• Dec. 20 – A Weyauwega man on Galilee Road reported the sound of suspicious gunfire.

• Dec. 21 – A New London woman on Broadway Street reported she received a phone call from a man that offered to help her with her utility bills. She gave him her credit card number and now thinks this might be a fraudulent set-up.

• Dec. 21 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.

• Dec. 21 – A Big Falls woman on Main Street reported she was in a vehicle with her husband and they were being chased. She said a person pulled a knife on her husband.

• Dec. 22 – Weyauwega Police Dept. reported there was a person on the railroad tracks and two trains nearly hit the person.

• Dec. 22 – A Weyauwega woman on White Lake Road reported her son that has struggled with mental health problems, homelessness and probation was saying troubling things about dying.

• Dec. 22 – The dispatcher followed up on a hang-up call. A Green Bay woman in Waupaca County was watching TV and a voice on the TV said, “Call 911,” and her phone called the number without her knowledge. There was no emergency.

• Dec. 22 – A Waupaca man on Arbor Street reported his wife was drinking earlier and now she grabbed a knife, went into the spare bedroom and was threatening to kill herself.

• Dec. 22 – A Weyauwega woman on White Lake Road reported her son stated he was going to kill himself because his mother wanted him out of the house.

• Dec. 22 –A n unknown caller reported someone shot an emergency flare over the Iola Mill Pond.

• Dec. 22 – A Clintonville man on Koeller Road reported a suspicious vehicle with its lights on parked by the public hunting grounds for the past week.

• Dec. 23 – An Iola woman on River Road reported she needed a police report for Amazon concerning a package that was never delivered.

• Dec. 23 – A Manawa man on Baldwin Road requested a welfare check on a woman walking down the road not wearing any winter clothing.

• Dec. 23 –R awhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.

• Dec. 24 – A Weyauwega woman on West Road reported she had been fighting with her boyfriend all day. He wrote her a note and was ready to harm himself.

• Dec. 24 – A Clintonville woman on Forest View Lane reported a suspicious situation where she received a call from the alarm company that said her granddaughter’s front door was compromised.

• Dec. 24 – A New London man on Klatt Road reported his ex-wife was making false claims about him.

• Dec. 24 – An anonymous caller reported a man cut off his ankle monitor while driving a white Toyota Tundra.

• Dec. 24 – Boondocks Bar in Manawa requested an ambulance for a man in his 40s who fell and hit his head.

• Dec. 24 – A Clintonville woman on Flora Way reported a man was extremely drunk and the his girlfriend was texting the caller stating the man was making suicidal statements about driving and cashing his car.

• Dec. 24 – A Waupaca man on Franklin Street reported a man and a woman were drinking while on probation.

• Dec. 24 – A New London man on Depot Street reported his mother might be lost and her cr might be stolen.

• Dec. 26 –An anonymous caller reported a man was living in a box truck that does not run that sits on land he does not own but has permission to stay upon. The man was slumped over and had not moved in some time.

• Dec. 26 – A Bear Creek caller on State Highway 22 reported two of his fence posts were damaged.

• There were 21 deer-related calls during this period. Thirty-six controlled burns were called in. There were many reports of vehicles going into the ditch because of snowfall before Christmas and also during icy conditions after Christmas. A Clintonville caller reported two horses loose on Brandy Creek Road. A Waupaca woman was bitten by a cat named Marv. An Ogdensburg woman reported an aggressive dog charging at passing vehicles. A Redfield woman reported being charged by a loose pit bull. A Manawa man reported loose cattle in the roadway. An unknown caller reported a black heifer running loose on the road. An Iola man reported his neighbor’s dog attacked his dog.
