• Jan. 6 – A cell phone caller reported the back part of a house was on fire and everyone inside was getting out.
• Jan. 6 – A Marion man on Begrow Road reported hearing an explosion at 2:45 a.m. He also heard the same sound on Friday. His neighbors heard it, too.
• Jan. 7 – An unknown caller reported neglectful care of cows and sheep that had no shelter. The caller said the sheep looked like they “haven’t been sheared in years” and pointed out their hooves were probably overgrown.
• Jan. 7 – A 911 caller reported an arborist fell 45 feet from a tree and was not conscious.
• Jan. 7 – A Waupaca woman on State Highway 54 reported the death of a 71-year-old woman.
• Jan. 7 – A Clintonville man on County Trunk I reported he was kicked out of his grandmother’s house a week ago and said he did not feel safe going back there to retrieve some personal items.
• Jan. 7 – A New London man on Pearl Street reported a juvenile made a statement to a classmate that he or she was going to kill another juvenile when that person went to bed.
• Jan. 7 – A caller reported a suspicious man walking near the Pine Tree Supper Club.
• Jan. 8 – An Iola woman on State Street reported a man called her crying, saying he was going to hurt himself. He was alone. He and the caller were going through a break-up.
• Jan. 8 – ThedaCare in Waupaca reported getting a call from a family friend of a man unable to care for himself and was having memory problems. They were unable to contact the man.
• Jan. 8 – A Waupaca man on Parfreyville Road reported he was being harassed by a woman via text messages. She was threatening to send explicit photos to his current girlfriend and placing things in his parent’s yard.
• Jan. 8 – A Waupaca woman on Union Street reported A Toyota Rav 4 started on fire.
• Jan. 8 – A Waupaca woman on Lauritzen Lane reported getting a phone call from a male with a foreign accent representing her bank. He was requesting an $8,000 wire transfer from her account.
• Jan. 8 – An Ogedenburg man on Bestul Road reported a car dealership in Scottsdale, AZ, told him that a person tried using his name, social security number and address to try to purchase a vehicle. They also took out an auto insurance policy in his name.
• Jan. 8 – A Weyauwega man on State Highway 110 reported a possible chimney fire.
• Jan. 8 – A 911 caller reported a 42-year-old female was bucked off a horse and blood was coming from her head.
• Jan. 9 – A Waupaca woman on 8th Street reported someone keeps pounding on all of her windows.
• Jan. 10 – A Manawa woman on Wolf Road reported a suspicious black Ford pickup with a female driver and a dog.
• Jan. 10 – A Clintonville woman on Klemp Road reported her bank account was hacked by a person posing as a bank fraud investigator. The person took $5,000 from her account and $5,000 from her daughter’s account.
• Jan. 10 – An unknown caller reported two juvenile in possession of marijuana were threatening to shoot up people on a Snapchat call.
• Jan. 11 – A Clintonville woman on Main Street reported there was a man wearing dark clothes at her front door trying to get into her house.
• Jan. 11 – A Waupaca man on State Highway 22 reported his mailbox was taken out and car parts were left behind.
• Jan. 11 – An unknown caller reported a semi was engulfed in flames.
• Jan. 11 – Rawhide Youth Services reported two juvenile runaways.
• Jan, 11 – An anonymous caller reported a female got out of a gray pickup and asked a woman to help her because she was being abused.
• Jan. 11 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• Jan. 11 –A New London woman on Partridge Drive reported a woman was driving intoxicated with a five-year-old in her vehicle.
• Jan. 12 –A New London woman on Otto Road reported a woman was sending her threatening messages.
• Jan. 12 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk E reported a man woke up his grandparents, threw a TV out of the house and disappeared. He was mad because his grandmother would not give him his phone.
• There were 10 deer-related calls during this period. Nine controlled burns were called in. A New London caller on Madden Road reported two horses were in her front yard. A Clintonville woman reported her neighbor’s aggressive pit bull was in her yard. A Hortonville man reported one cow blocking the roadway.
