• Feb. 24 – An anonymous caller reported a post on Facebook advertising free kittens. The caller adopted one to find it sickly and noticed the other kittens were thin and bony and locked in a room with four full litter boxes.
• Feb. 24 – A Waupaca woman on Smith Street reported a male driver was slouched over the steering wheel of a dark-colored SUV for over an hour.
• Feb. 24 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• Feb. 24 – An unknown caller reported she thought a female was going to slit her wrists. The female sent images to a friend and the friend contacted the caller.
• Feb. 24 –A Fremont man on Pine Valley Lane reported be believed he was poisoned by his family. He requested a blood test.
• Feb. 25 –A Fremont man on Pine Valley Lane reported his wife was stalking him and she broke his furnace.
• Feb. 25 –A Weyauwega woman on Sumner Street reported another dog bit her dog and she had to pry open the jaws of the other dog.
• Feb. 25 – A female caller reported a package was stolen off her front porch.
• Feb. 25 –A Plover man reported he hit a dog with a rental car.
• Feb. 25 –ACR Repo reported they were repossessing a 2017 Nissan SUV and a 2015 GMC Sierra.
• Feb. 25 – A Clintonville woman on Neitzke Road reported her doorbell was going off for the pat ten minutes. She checked outside and nobody was there.
• Feb. 26 – A New London man on Fairway Drive reported a man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt was shooting a long gun towards the golf course.
• Feb. 26 –A Big Falls woman reported a juvenile told her that another juvenile was vandalizing a bicycle at the park.
• Feb. 26 –A Manawa man reported he spotted a fire near Sturm Lake Road.
• Feb. 27 –A male caller reported that for the last four to five days from midnight to 5 a.m., someone is shining a flashlight into their van.
• Feb. 27 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported $40 was taken from a resident.
• Feb. 27 –An Illinois man reported his pole barn was burglarized and a field mower, an irrigation pump and ice fishing gear were missing.
• Feb. 27 –A Fremont woman on County Trunk W reported she was missing some family photo albums.
• Feb. 27 –Rawhide Youth Services reported two juvenile runaways.
• Feb. 27 – An Iola man on County Trunk G reported his wife was physical with him and pushing him. She also “busted the front door.”
• Feb. 27 –A New London man on Elm Street reported a female driver backed into his neighbor’s driveway and smashed into a trailer and some trees.
• Feb. 28 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• Feb. 28 –An Amherst woman on Yellow Brick Road reported the death of a male.
• Feb. 28 – A woman calling from the Econolodge in Waupaca reported she was arguing with her boyfriend and he left saying he was going to walk in front of a semi.
• Feb. 28 – Marion Body Works reported a fired employee was text messaging coworkers saying that he has a gun and was not afraid to use it and he specifically threatened a former supervisor.
• March 1 – A New London woman on Depot Road reported she was home alone and heard footsteps in the house. She locked herself into a room.
• March 1 – An anonymous caller reported an underage drinking party with a “bunch of kids walking in and out of the house and revving trucks in the driveway.”
• March 1 – Pine Manor Health Care in Embarrass reported allegations of sexual abuse between two residents.
• March 2 – An unknown caller reported a truck fell through the ice and was partly submerged. It was 300 yards offshore from Wolf River Drive. A person was standing next to the truck.
• March 2 – Kwik Trip on County Trunk QQ in Waupaca reported a male walked into the store and said that he didn’t know who he was and then he started tap dancing.
• There were 11 deer-related calls during this period. Twenty six controlled burns were called in. A New London woman reported her neighbor’s dog was chasing deer. A Weyauwega woman reported a dead horse had been lying on a property for “quite some time.” A Waupaca woman on McCrossen Road reported her neighbor’s dogs attacked her dogs while out for a walk. A Waupaca caller on Nelson Road reported five horses and a white sheep were running loose.
