• March 31 – An Embarrass woman on Grand Avenue requested help with a juvenile that has not slept for three days. The juvenile has a history of self harm and was taking a higher dosage of a prescribed medication.
• March 31 – A Scandinavia woman on Norse Street reported she filed a noise complaint against her neighbor. Now she suspected the neighbor loosened the lug nuts on her vehicle.
• March 31 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• March 31 – A Marion woman on Ramsdell Street requested an officer to visit her to listen to a phone call she received about a fraud and also to talk about her nephew “getting into her bank account.”
• March 31 –A New London man on Dey Road reported an ATV driver charged him and stopped right before hitting him and then drove off.
•April 1 – A Waupaca man on Laff Road reported his nine-year-old son was abducted by a gang of violent snow monkeys and now lives in a cave in the rock quarry at Shambeau Park. April Fools.
• April 1 –A Waupaca woman on County Trunk E reported a suspicious man was walking around her house trying to get in. He wore glasses, a hood and a backpack.
• April 1 –A Waupaca woman on Nancy Lane reported a suspicious Hispanic male approached her house but did not knock on the door.
• April 1 – An anonymous caller reported a white Ford truck with a male and female inside. The female tried getting out of the truck while it was moving—as if they were arguing.
• April 1 –A Waupaca man on Main Street reported he could hear a fight happening and someone was yelling to “call the cops.”
• April 2 –A Waupaca woman on King Road reported a suspicious woman came to her door and asked to use her phone. She said her cat locked her out of her car and her phone was dead.
• April 2 –A Waupaca woman on Shamrock Lane reported she was scammed out of $50,000 wire transfer via her iPad.
• April 2 – The Pines in Embarrass reported a case of elder abuse.
• April 2 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk F reported he drank half of a big bottle of whiskey. He was home alone and said he wants to drink until he dies.
• April 2 – The Waupaca Foundry requested a welfare check on a female employee that did not show up for work and not responding to calls. Another employee stopped by her residence. Her vehicle was there but no one came to the door.
• April 2 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile assaulted another juvenile.
• April 2 – A Waupaca woman on Haase Road reported drones were approaching her house. The night before, one flew right up to her face. She does not know where they are coming from.
• April 2 – An Embarrass woman on Grand avenue reported her ex-husband lives across the street and has a restraining order on him. She said she “caught him looking out the window of the house he is in.”
• April 3 – A New London woman on County Trunk B reported a large amount of cash was stolen out of her safe.
• April 3 – An anonymous caller reported he lives near the gas station in Embarrass and every day he notices an intoxicated driver of a red van getting gas.
• April 3 – A 911 caller reported the death of a 78-year-old man in Caledonia.
• April 3 – A person reported there were males throwing “fake money” into the Wolf River.
• April 3 – An Iola man on Pagel Road reported his girlfriend left for Michigan the day before with another man. Now she is messaging the caller saying she wants to come home.
• April 3 – A Waupaca man on Amy Street reported he let a man stay at his home. When he woke up, the man and the caller’s 2020 Toyota Tacoma were gone. Also, a 9mm pistol was in the center console.
• April 3 – A Waupaca man on Churchill Street reported a suspicious man with a sledgehammer was pounding on his door.
• April 4 – A Shiocton man on Fields Road reported his girlfriend’s brother calls him ten times a day and leaves messages. Today he called 17 and left 17 messages. He blocked him but the calls forward to voicemail.
• April 4 – A New London man on Johnson Road reported a man was threatening to kill himself.
• April 4 –A Waupaca man on State Street reported the sound of a gunshot.
• April 5 – A Stevens Point man reported the death of a 40-year-old man on County Trunk H.
• April 5 – A Clintonville woman on State Highway 45 reported the death of a male.
• There were 10 deer-related calls during this period. Six controlled burns were called in. There were multiple calls throughout the county about trees fallen against utility lines and into roadways.
