• June 24 – A New London man on Ebert Road reported receiving a letter from Bank of America about a fraudulent vehicle purchase from his account.
• June 24 – Scandinavia Convenience Store reported a vehicle took out some parking barriers and struck the building.
• June 24 – Check N Go in Stevens Point requested a welfare check for a man they were calling about collecting a late loan payment. The man was crying and said he “wants to die” and he hung up.
• June 24 – A New London woman on Fox Trail reported her brother has permission to use their mother’s cards to purchase things for her residence. She is in a nursing home. He charged over $4,000 worth of purchases.
• June 24 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk K reported her phone was hacked and someone might have stolen her identity.
• June 24 – A Waupaca man on State Highway 54 requested a welfare check on his ex-wife who had been sending him messages all week. He thought she might be doing drugs and harming herself.
• June 24 – Dollar General in Fremont reported a suspicious black Ford F150 that had been parked there for over 24 hours.
• June 24 – A Waupaca woman on Crystal Road reported a 47-year-old man was suffering from a horrible toothache. He was drunk, belligerent and threatening to harm his mother.
• June 24 – A Waupaca man on King Road reported a dispute between a man and a woman. He took her phone and beat her up. She wanted the caller to take her back to the man.
• June 24 – An Ogdensburg man on Waupaca Road reported a female ran up to his door and said a man was chasing her with a knife.
• June 24 – A Waupaca man on Crystal Road requested a welfare check on his 60-something neighbor. His vehicle had not moved all summer, the grass was not cut, no lights were on and many neighbors were concerned.
• June 24 – A Waupaca man on Shambeau Court reported someone placed dead birds in his mailbox and stole $175 from his “man cave.” He called again two days later and reported some stole his potato chips.
• June 26 – A Waupaca woman on Sue Lane reported her neighbor shot her cat. She heard the sound of a .22 report and the cat came back with a .22-sized hole in its neck.
• June 26 - Camp Young Judea reported a suspicious drone was following children around the lake.
• June 26 – An Iola woman on State Highway 49 reported a juvenile tried to strangle her.
• June 27 – Rawhide Youth Services reported tow juvenile runaways.
• June 27 – An Iola man on State Highway 49 reported his daughter’s ex-boyfriend keeps showing up at their house.
• June 27 – A Waupaca man on Richard Street requested a welfare check on a residence where he could hear a child screaming every few nights.
• June 28 – A Waupaca woman called for an ambulance for an intoxicated woman bleeding on the side of the road.
• July 28 – A Manawa woman on Riverview Drive reported her ex-husband just emailed her and said he was on his way over. She was scared because he was violent in the past.
• July 28 – An Iola woman on Torgerson Road reported her 34-year-old son was talking to people that were not there.
• July 28 – A Clintonville man on County Trunk O reported a diet bike was stolen from his shed.
• July 28 – An Ogdensburg woman on Swamp Road reported her 29-year-old daughter was pounding on her door and out of control.
• July 28 – An Ogdensburg woman on Granite Quarry Road reported her boyfriend physically and sexually assaulted her.
• July 29 – An anonymous caller reported a man that grabs his dogs by the collar and holds them in the air and yells at them.
• July 29 – An Oklahoma woman at a local campground reported her drunken husband kicked her and their children out of the camper.
• July 29 – ACR Repo reported they were repossessing a 2012 Subaru Legacy.
• There were very few deer-related calls during this period. Nine controlled burns were called in. The sheriff’s water patrol stopped ten boats. There were multiple reports of fallen trees blocking roadways. Several callers reported an uncatchable Chihuahua running loose on Hilltop Road. Sheep were reported in a roadway near Manawa. A Scandinavia man reported hitting two geese with his car, leaving one injured. A Clintonville man on 12th Street reported a cow in his front yard. Cows were reported loose on Trinrud Road. For the third week in a row, a deputy helped a snapping turtle cross the road.
