• Aug. 18 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a possible case of elder abuse.
• Aug. 18 – A New London man on Bear Creek Road reported his neighbor trespasses on his property. The man hunts there, paints things, adds gravel, invites other people and removes signs. He also threatened the caller’s family.
• Aug. 18 – A Waupaca woman on Haase Road reported he believes someone has been entering her home while she is not there and it’s been going on for years.
• Aug. 18 – A New London woman on Huckleberry Road reported receiving threatening emails that said “they are going to beat her up.” A man was removed from the campground and was now threatening her.
• Aug. 18 – A Fremont man on Welch Road reported he has a restraining order against a woman and she’s been contacting him for the past three weeks.
• Aug. 18 – An anonymous caller requested a welfare check on an elderly man that lives with his disabled son. The man has had strokes in the past and the caller believed the disabled son could not care for the father who looked like he hasn’t eaten anything in weeks.
• Aug. 18 – A male caller reported a barn fire on Magolski Road.
• Aug. 18 –An unknown caller reported the death of a 65-year-old woman that was having chest pains.
• Aug. 19 – A Clintonville woman on Yaeger Road requested a deputy to check on a woman for her social media comments. The dispatcher reminded the caller of freedom of speech and the comments were non-threatening. The caller requested that a deputy call the woman and tell her it is wrong.
• Aug. 19 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk X reported someone tried grinding the locks off of five storage units.
• Aug. 19 – A Waupaca woman on Long Cove Drive reported some jet skis were going too close to her dock.
• Aug. 19 – Nationwide Judgment Recovery reported they were repossessing a 2020 Chrysler Voyager. The owners were not aware.
• Aug 20 – A Manawa woman on Progress Road reported a man and a woman has been arguing for over 45 minutes in a parking lot.
• Aug. 20 – A male caller reported a blue-and-white Malibu boat that was making four-foot waves that were unsafe.
• Aug. 21 – A New London woman on Pearl Street reported the death of a a male cancer patient.
• Aug. 21 – A New London man on State Highway 54 reported the theft of a youth-model Remington 870 20-gauge shotgun.
• Aug. 21 – A Waupaca woman on Crystal Lake Road reported a male grabbed a female and was trying to force her into a small gray SUV.
• Aug. 21 – A Waupaca man on Pine Lane reported a strong smell of chlorine in the area.
• Aug. 21 – A Tigerton man on US Highway 45 reported his sister was punched in the face by her fiancé.
• Aug. 21 – Kwik Trip on Waupaca’s Fulton Street reported a suspicious man was hanging around a semi that was making a delivery.
• Aug. 21 – The Waupaca Conservation Club reported someone was coming onto their property at night and defecating in their lawn.
• Aug. 21 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile spit on several people.
• Aug. 21 – A Waupaca woman on State Highway 22 reported a suspicious gray Toyota Camry with Minnesota plates that was parked overnight against a culvert.
• Aug. 21 – Fox Communities Credit Union requested a check on a woman that was scammed and now believed her phone to be hacked.
• Aug. 22 – A Clintonville woman on Morning Glory Drive reported her neighbors were fighting.
• Aug. 22 –An Iola woman on Lake Road reported her neighbor will not move his trailer that is on her property.
• Aug. 22 – A Clintonville woman on Conradt Road reported a person was impersonating their business online and was scamming people.
• Aug. 22 – A Manawa woman on Ash Street reported two pit bulls running up and down the street tried to attack her husband.
• Aug. 22 – A New London woman on Ebert Road reported a male was suffering from substance abuse and depression issues. He was trying to leave and was intoxicated but did not have his keys.
• Aug. 22 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway that supposedly has a knife.
• Aug. 23 – A Fremont woman on State Highway 45 reported he got into an argument with her boyfriend. He grabbed her and she has bruises on her arm.
• Aug. 23 – A Waupaca woman on Oak Street reported several people fighting in the middle of the road.
• Aug. 22 – A Manawa woman on Fuhs Road reported a fraudulent call from what appeared to be her bank and it involved orders totaling $700.
• Aug. 24 – Weyauwega BP reported an extremely intoxicated person driving away in Chevy Cobalt.
• Aug. 24 – A Waupaca man on Round Lake Drive reported finding a floating dock near his property.
• There were four deer-related calls during this period. Eight controlled burns were called in. The water patrol stopped 14 boats. ThedaCare Waupaca reported a juvenile was bitten by her godmother’s dog. A male caller reported he struck a bald eagle while driving. Another caller reported an injured seagull in the roadway. A New London caller struck a goose and it came through the windshield.
