Waupaca County Sheriff’s report Sept. 14

• Sept. 8 – A Waupaca man on Norris Lane reported that during the night his swim float was hit and pushed across Rainbow Lake. It is anchored by a five-gallon bucket filled with cement. His dock was also damaged.
• Sept. 8 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk QQ reported he could see two trespassers “squatting in the trees.”
• Sept. 8 – An Iola man on County Trunk G reported his lawn in the ditch line was ripped with 800-foot tracks and empty beer cans were thrown into the ditch, too.
• Sept. 8 – A Waupaca man reported someone drove through the soybean field that a person was renting from his parents. An LED light was left behind.
• Sept. 8 – A Clintonville man on McKinley Avenue reported he received a call from a woman about child custody dispute where a man was trying to take a daughter.
• Sept. 8 – A Weyauwega man on South Street reported a 56-year-old female “took a bunch of pills.”
• Sept. 8 – A woman caller reported a suicidal juvenile who was in the basement with her husband. The juvenile tried putting exercise bands around his/her neck.
• Sept. 9 – A Waupaca woman on Lamplighter Lane reported someone damaged her lawn ornaments.
• Sept. 9 – An Ogdensburg man on County Trunk E reported he owns a storage unit and one of the renters told him one unit was broken into and there was visible damage.
• Sept. 9 – An anonymous person stopped in lobby of the sheriff’s office and provided an address where a juvenile lives. The person reported hearing the juvenile tell his/her father, “Stop trying to stop me from killing myself.” The person has not seen the juvenile since then.
• Sept. 9 – A New London woman on Broadway Street reported she was being held against her will. Her son got on the phone and said she has dementia and he was her legal guardian.
• Sept. 9 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a youth damaged chairs and tables and punched holes in the wall.
• Sept. 9 – A male caller reported his brother pulled a knife on him. He requested an ambulance and said he was bleeding. They were now separated and the caller said he had a gun.
• Sept. 10 – A Waupaca High School teacher reported observing a student expose their genitals to another student during class.
• Sept. 10 – Waupaca County Crisis Center requested a welfare check on a female that sent a text message saying she was going to kill herself.
• Sept. 11 – A Clintonville man on Jepson Road reported his computer was hacked, along with his phone and email account.
• Sept. 11 – W-F School District reported a white pickup failed to stop for a school bus with its stop sign arm extended and lights on.
• Sept. 11 – A female caller reported a woman “came after” a man with a baseball bat. The man left the scene, the woman was intoxicated.
• Sept. 11 – A Clintonville man on Kratzke Road reported someone tried to break in his garage. The doorknob was busted and the door was bent and the person did not gain entry.
• Sept. 11 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk K reported a driver was doing burnouts by her house.
• Sept. 12 – A New London woman on Pine Street reported a stolen 2013 Chrysler 200.
• Sept. 12 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident was missing $100 from his wallet.
• Sept. 12 – A Weyauwega woman on Koplein Road reported the death of an elderly man in a trailer. A day or two had passed since he died.
• Sept. 12 – A Waupaca caller on Indian Valley Road reported a neighbor came onto their land and removed a tree stand.
• Sept. 13 – Depot Street Station in Iola reported finding a baggie with a white substance.
• Sept. 13 – A Weyauwega woman on County Trunk X reported her husband had a gun and was upset that someone else was at the residence.
• Sept. 14 – A Waupaca woman on Maple Street reported a man made suicidal comments while on the phone and sent her 100 text messages in 15 minutes.
• Sept. 14 – An Iola woman on Water Street reported a man walking down the road kept falling down and his face was bleeding.
• Sept. 14 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident was missing $82.
• Sept. 14 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk Q reported the death of a 50-year-old man he found lying face down on the kitchen floor.
• Sept. 14 – An Ogdensburg woman reported her ex-husband was trespassing on her property.
• There were 13 deer-related calls during this period. Five controlled burns were called in. An anonymous caller reported an aggressive pit bull that attacks bikers and walkers. A cow was reported loose on Count Trunk B near Ogdensburg. ThedaCare Waupaca reported two dog bites. Theda Care New London reported a cat bite.
