Chargers top T-Birds

Kisting leads I-S with 10 points

Iola-Scandinavia fell to Wittenberg-Birnamwood Dec. 7 in a matchup of Central Wisconsin Conference East Division girls’ basketball teams.

The Chargers outscored the Thunderbirds 29-21 in the first half and 25-15 over the next 18 minutes.

Bryanna Kisting and Katie led the T-Birds with 10 and nine points, respectively, while Emilie Briquelet grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

Olivia Curley led the Chargers with 15 points.

The T-Birds played at Amherst Dec. 11 and will host Weyauwega-Fremont at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14.
