STEVENS POINT – The Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) will present the stage production of Clue, a performance inspired by the timeless board game and the cult-classic film.
The murder mystery will run on two separate weekends at the Sentry Theater. The performances will be from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 at 7 p.m., a matinee performance on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m., and Feb. 7- and 8 at 7 p.m.
The story: when an unexpected murder shakes up a dinner party at a remote mansion, six eccentric guests must navigate a tangled web of secrets, blackmail, and suspicion to unmask the killer.
“The show is a fast-paced farce that pulls heavily from the Hollywood screwball comedies of the 1930’s and 1940’s,” said director Jeff Cook. “This show is a wonderful stage representation of the 1980’s film, and if you love the film, you’ll have a great time with the stage play.”

“The cast for Clue has a tremendous amount of talent and experience, and as a director it’s wonderful to be able to work with a group that understands the material and the vision for the show. At the same time, they all still manage to remain true to the core of the original characters that the audience is familiar with,” said Cook.
