Clintonville Utilities receives national award

CLINTONVILLE – Clintonville Utilities has received the American Public Power Association (APPA) National Diamond Safety Award.
Clintonville Utilities Manager Dave Tichinel told the Clintonville Common Council at its May 13 meeting that the award is a national award, and is the highest award that is given out.
“We’ve always been at gold level,” Tichinel said. “With the help of MUW and our safety program, we actually got diamond, which is the highest award from the American Public Power Association. Good job to the utility department and all the guys. This is as safety award for being safe and operating safe and not having accidents and stuff like that.”
