The Clintonville Truckers won in a 12-0 blowout at home against the Kewaunee Storm on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to maintain second place in the North Eastern conference standings.
The scoring started early for the Truckers. Maxwell Polzin scored at 3:40 in the first half to give his team the 1-0 advantage.
At the 17:45 mark, Bryan Luna put the ball in the back of the net to give the Truckers a 2-0 advantage.
Polzin delivered his second goal of the game at 24:23 as the Truckers went up by a score of 3-0.
Christopher Salas made it a 4-0 game at the 34:50 mark, and Conner Magee scored a goal that gave the Truckers a 5-0 lead at the end of the first half.
In the early moments of the second half, Jesus Hernandez scored a goal to give the Truckers the 6-0 lead, and less than a minute later, Polzin scored his third goal of the game for a 7-0 lead.
At the 45:09 mark, Hernandez scored his second goal to give the Truckers an 8-0 advantage.
The Truckers continued the scoring barrage, including Magee scoring another goal to help his team get to a 12-0 score before the mercy rule came into play at the 60:00 minute mark of the match.
