Waupaca soccer team falls to Clintonville, Medford

Clintonville handed the Waupaca boys’ soccer team a 2-1 loss Oct. 8 in a matchup of North Eastern Conference teams.
Meanwhile the Comets also fell to Medford 7-2 Oct. 5 in a nonconference game.
Seth Boldt and Luis Jorgensen scored for the Comets and each player also picked up an assist.
Waupaca will open WIAA state tournament play Tuesday, Oct. 20, with a Division 3 regional quarterfinal. The time and opponent will be posted on www.twitter.com/copostsports.
