The Wolves looked poised to take down the Crivitz Wolverines on Monday, Dec.2, and go to 2-0 on the season, but Crivitz had other plans.
The Wolves went up 17-11 in the first half with good defense and ball movement.
Crivitz mounted a comeback, leading to a 14-8 run to make it a 25-25 game going into the locker room at halftime.
The Wolverines did not let up in the second half, exploding for 37 points to Manawa’s 16.
Manawa suffered their first loss as Crivitz defeated them by a score of 62-41. Crivitz Kade Thoma scored 25 points and 10 rebounds, and Pierce Polomis scored 11 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
