David R. Reynolds, 27, Clintonville, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Friday, May 25, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Clint Schroeder stopped a vehicle because of a faulty exhaust and its registered owner had a suspended driver’s license.
Reynolds was sitting in the front passenger seat.
After Reynolds exited the car, Schroeder asked him if he had anything the deputy should know about.
Reynolds said he had a loaded gun in his waistband.
Schroeder removed a fully loaded .38-caliber Taurus pistol from Reynolds’ pants.
According to the criminal complaint, there was also an unloaded handgun under Reynolds’ seat.
When Schroeder searched Reynolds, he reported finding a small plastic gem bag with meth in his pocket.
