TOWN OF UNION – Waupaca County deputies responded to a UTV crash on Oct. 17. A 911 caller reported the accident at 5:34 p.m. The crash on Symco Road east of Bridge Road in the Town of Union.
Also arriving on the scene were the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Manawa Fire Department, and the Manawa Ambulance.
Aspirus Medivac and Theda Star landed nearby to airlift the two UTV occupants to Theda Care Medical Center of Neenah. One of the two occupants was pronounced deceased at the hospital. No other vehicles were involved in this accident which is under investigation.
