Fire destroys Bear Creek barn

A fire destroyed a barn at the Tom and Tammy Anderson farm in the town of Bear Creek Sunday night, June 29.

Bear Creek firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after 10:45 p.m. and found the barn fully engulfed in flames.

They called for tanker backup from several area departments, including Clintonville, Manawa, Embarrass, Iola, Ogdenburg and New London.

The barn was a total loss. Nobody was reported injured.
