Fire in Ogdensburg

No injuries reported, substantial damage

Ogdensburg firefighters were called to burning residence at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, June 19.

Upon arrival, crews saw flames on the second floor of Matt and Ashley Weinhart’s home at N5694 Spring St., Ogdensburg.

The home sustained substantial damage.

Cause of the fire is unknown and is believed to have started in an upstairs bedroom.

No injuries were reported.

Assisting the Ogdensburg-St. Lawrence Fire Department were Iola, Manawa and Scandinavia.
