Dorothy Lois Gough, age 78, of Manawa, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the New London Family Medical Center. She was born on March 13, 1932 in West Bloomfield daughter of the late August and Dora (Klotzbuecher) Strey. On November 26, 1950 she married Thomas Gough in West Bloomfield. He preceded her in death 16 years ago to the day of Dorothy's death on December 28, 1994. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa and their Ladies Aid. Dorothy and her husband Tom farmed in the Town of Little Wolf for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing cards and other games with her friends at the Manawa Senior Center. She is survived by her children: Sandra (Jack) Stroud, Royalton; Sally Gough, Manawa; Larry Gough, New London; Ken Gough, Manawa; Dale (Sue) Gough, Northport; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons Ed and Mark Gough, brothers Alvin and Raymond Strey, and sisters Lila Bestful and Eleanor Ratajczak. The funeral service for Dorothy was held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. Burial was in Little Wolf Cemetery in the Town of Little Wolf. Friends called directly at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
