The Iola Lions Club in conjunction with ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca held a health fair on March 13, at the Iola-Scandinavia Community Fitness and Aquatic Center.

Attendance this year more than doubled compared to last year.

In addition to the many tests and screenings in past years, a number of new tests and screenings and information sources were added. These included cardio-pulmonary, skin tests, suicide prevention, blood donation, hearing, elder services, mental health, exercise demonstrations, and dental care. All were well received and drew interest.

Also new this year, the health fair featured activities for children such as a jumping/bouncing house, a climbing wall and open swimming.

Many attendees took advantage of the pancake breakfast offered by the Iola Leos Club.
