Kenneth R Heimerl, age 77 of Clintonville, died on Thursday January 9th, 2025.
He was born July 24, 1947 in Chilton to the late Ralph and Florence (Bowe) Heimerl.
Kenneth enjoyed his retired life to the very end, always staying busy. He enjoyed the company of his dog, Finny. He loved tinkering in his garage and working on cars, taking trips to his favorite tavern, playing cards, and, most importantly, seeing his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
Of him, his youngest grandchild Dylan, age 7, said: “Poppa Kenny was the nicest. I loved seeing him and I already miss his hugs. He was the greatest. I love you Poppa Kenny.”
He is survived by his best canine friend, Finny; his two children, Katie (Nick) Miller and Shaun (Dave) Meaux; his grandchildren, Lucy, Vivian, Ames, and Dylan (Miller); Ben and Natalie (Meaux); his stepchildren, Kim Diersen and Joseph Blasczyk; his stepgrandchildren, Bailey and Reece.
He is further survived by his sisters, Jayne (Bill) Levknecht and Marilee (Dean) Bornemann, a sister-in-law Kathy Heimerl, as well as many other family members and close friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents Ralph and Florence Heimerl; his sisters, Carolynn (Gene) Denzel and Judy (Jack) Schoen; his brother, Joseph Heimerl; his son, Shane Heimerl; and his granddaughter, Kaycee Malliet-Heimerl.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
