I-S, W-F have pair of first-team players

Amherst placed three players on the Central Wisconsin 8 Conference all-conference first team, while Iola-Scandinavia and Weyauwega-Fremont have two each.



First-teamers in the CWC-8 include Amherst's Jess Torrey, Lindsay Helbach and McKenna Johnson; Iola-Scandinavia's Mary Marx and Morgan Oppor; and Weyauwega-Fremont's Kaitlyn Akey and Kayla Bastar.



The CWC-10 first team includes Marion's Brittany Finger and Kristin Mehlberg; Almond-Bancroft's Jess Dorgan; and Wild Rose's Erin Martinson.



The second team includes Amherst's Ashlee Trzebiatowski and Weyauwega-Fremont's Macey Schoenick and Rachel Knecht (CWC-8); and Almond-Bancroft's Kayla Smith and Kiara Turzinski, Marion's Halie Joerres and Kayla Krueger and Wild Rose's Alicia Paeth (CWC-10).



Honorable mention players include Amherst's Taylor Lepak, Manawa's Katelyn Langman, Kim Retzke and Krista Braun and Weyauwega-Fremont's Kate Wieters (CWC-8); and Almond-Bancroft's Mandi Crahan and Stephanie Rodriguez, Marion's Kristyn Mattson and Wild Rose's Jonae Apps and Makenzie Reinke (CWC-10).
